Deal Announcement! Vida Wishes is on its way!

I’m beyond thrilled to finally share the announcement of my next picture book, Vida Wishes!, with beautiful, dreamlike illustrations by fellow Venezuelan, Marianne Ferrer @marianneferrer

The seed of this story came to me on my last visit to my country, Venezuela, in 2018, right at the border with Colombia, where families gathered to say their goodbyes with tears intertwined with laughs. I stood there thinking of those families and wondering if they would find each other again.

Things have not improved since then, but this story is not just about Venezuela; it is a universal truth and a situation we unfortunately see too often around the globe.

This is a story about hope and love.
